Police arrest Summerside man

SUMMERSIDE — A 35-yearold Summerside man is facing impaired driving charges after being stopped by police Monday evening.

In a July 21 release, Summerside Police Services that officers were called about a possible impaired driver in Summerside shortly before 9 p.m. on July 19.

Police located the suspect vehicle, and the driver failed a roadside screening test.

The driver was arrested and taken to the police station where he gave two more breath samples. Both samples were over the legal limit, police said.

The man will be in court at a later date to answer the charges.
