Seniors ready for another Maritime ski season

Another Maritime winter ski season is just around the corner.

The Ski Atlantic Seniors’ Club (SASC) is for active, enthusiastic seniors who enjoy the outdoors and love to ski.

The club was founded in 1989 by Kell Antoft to help retired seniors enjoy a sport that makes winter a joyous experience outdoors.

The healthy, active and positive lifestyle he promoted and encouraged is shared by all members of the club.

In co-operation with Atlantic Snow Resorts Association, ASRA members who purchase the annual SASC Pass available through the club are accepted by three ski hills in New Brunswick (Poley Mountain, Mont Farlagne and Sugarloaf Park), four hills in Nova Scotia (Ski Wentworth, Martock, Ben Eoin and Ski Cape Smokey), and in Prince Edward Island (Mark Arendz Provincial Park).

Members may ski at any of the participating hills.

To join SASC, you must be 55 or older.

To purchase an SASC Pass you must be 60 or older before the end of the current ski season – April 1, 2022. Early bird membership and SASC Passes are now on sale for $362. until Dec. 1. After that date it will cost $382.
