SAJATOVICH, Scott Christian

It is with great sadness that the family of Scott Sajatovich wishes to announce his passing at the age of 51 on Wednesday, May 24, 2023, at St. Martha's Regional Hospital in Antigonish. Born in Sydney, Cape Breton in 1972, Scott was the son of Dolores (Gillis) Sajatovich and the late Mark Sajatovich. He is survived by his mother, Dolores and brother, Mark (Sandra). Scott grew up in Sydney (Ashby), where he joined the family construction business for several years before moving to western Canada and travelling across North America as a long-haul truck driver. Scott eventually retired from the trucking industry and moved to Antigonish, Nova Scotia where he spent his remaining years with his family developing real estate. Scott was a skilled designer and builder. Always interested in the latest trends in architecture and energy, he enjoyed exploring each new development and future opportunity. More than anything, Scott was a proud uncle of his nieces and nephew and greatly enjoyed their discussions on politics and technology. Scott’s family would especially like to thank the doctors and nurses of St. Martha’s Regional Hospital. Their attention and dedication over the past few months is greatly appreciated. We sincerely thank them for their efforts and their care. Graveside service has taken place at Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney and memorials may be made to the St. Martha’s Regional Hospital Foundation.
