Dartmouth convenience store robbed

Police are investigating the theft of cash during a convenience store robbery in Dartmouth on Friday night.

Halifax Regional Police say officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Needs store at 275 Baker Dr. at 10:22 p.m.

Police said the suspect entered the store, demanded cash and threatened to harm staff.

The suspect got away with cash, and nobody was hurt.

The investigation is ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information about the crime or the suspect’s identity to call them at 902-490-5016 or submit an anonymous tip to Nova Scotia Crime Stoppers.
