Tuned-in crowd

A crowd of over 5,000 persons attended the ‘Lie-in For Peace’ during Sunday’s session of the protest which lasted 48 hours at Victoria Park in Halifax. At times there were as many as 2,500 persons listening in to a rock music concert, which ran for six hours. Publication Date: 1969-07-04.
