ANALYSIS Nova Scotia’s seven-day forecast.
This weekend’s overall forecast isn’t bad, but we have a few roadblocks. A weak trough will bring variable cloudiness with isolated showers or flurries Saturday. Then, another weak disturbance will bring some showers Sunday night which could mix with some wet snow. The pattern next week shouldn’t be as stormy. Still, it won’t be completely settled with another weak disturbance forecast to bring rain and snow showers Tuesday and then flurries lingering in brisk west and northwest winds. I am watching for a blast of arctic air into next week, which looks likely to be the colder air of the season thus far.
