MCMENAMON, Thomas Patrick

It is with great sadness that his family announces the passing of Thomas Patrick Mcmenamon. He fought a courageous and valiant battle with cancer and passed away with family at his side in his home in Enfield N.S. on Sat. Jan 21,2023. Tom was born in Winnipeg on Jan. 27, 1965, a son of the late Thomas Patrick Mcmenamon Sr. and Carmel Florence [Alty] Mcmenamon. He was predeceased by his twin brothers Pat and Mike in infancy. He is survived by his life partner Stephanie Munroe and son Patrick Mcmenamon and daughter Kathryn Mcmenamon. He is also survived by his brothers Jim, David (Donna), Joe; and sister, Mary Ann (Rick Wetmore), All of Quispamsis, NB. He also leaves behind his many nieces and nephews. Tom enjoyed a long career with Purolator Courier, starting as a courier and moving through the ranks to eventually become the General Manager of Operations for the Atlantic Region. For the past six years, Tom welcomed a new career family with Versacold, where he was the General Manager of Operations for Atlantic and Quebec. Tom was an incredible leader, colleague, and friend, who cherished his family, and worked hard through out his career, his legacy will carry on. For fun, Tom enjoyed detailing his vehicles, riding the trails on his side by side, traveling to the sun and sand, watching Jets games and spending time with his family. He was a loyal friend and a dedicated father. Cremation has taken place. A gathering will be held at Shooters Pub in Enfield, NS, February 25, 2023 from 2 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made to Hope for Wildlife, The Nova Scotia Cancer Center, or a registered charity of your choice.
