Proude wins at Oyster Bed

Greg Proude of Springvale, P.E.I., picked up his first win of the East Coast International Pro Stock Tour season Sunday in front of a home crowd at Oyster Bed Speedway.

It was Proude’s first series victory since 2017.

Terence Bay's Craig Slaunwhite tried to overtake Proude in the final laps but came up short and had to settle for second place.

Russell Smith Jr. of Lakeside, Moncton's Mike Rodgers and Jarrett Butcher of Porter's Lake rounded out the top five.

The tour returns to action this Saturday in River Glade, N.B., for the Irving Oil 150 at Petty International Raceway.
