SAMPSON (Keating), Beulah Ann

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Beulah Ann (Keating) Sampson, 80 years, of St. Peter’s, that occurred in Richmond Villa on May 14, 2022. Born in Rocky Bay, on July 23, 1941, she was a daughter of the late Lawrence and Elma (Latimer) Keating. Beulah worked for many years in Homecare in St. Peter’s, Saint John, N.B., and finally in Truro. She was adored by her many clients for her kindness and compassion. Beulah loved long walks, yard sales, knitting and quilting and baking; yummy bread and cinnamon rolls were enjoyed by many. She was a fan of golf (especially Tiger Woods) and baseball (the Blue Jays of course!). She had a great sense of humor and was always up to tell a good joke. She loved life and enjoyed lots of time spent with her family. She loved to get together with family and friends, enjoy some great food, and maybe a good game of cards. She will be sadly missed by her daughter, Lian (Todd) Parsons, Louisdale; sons, Ross (Ramonda) Sampson, St. Peter’s; Aaron Sampson, Truro; Dalton Sampson, Halifax; grandchildren, Kayla Carroll, Savannah Burke, Daniel Sampson, Derrick Sampson, Bennett Parsons, and Lindan Parsons; greatgrandchildren, Kendrick Duguid, Ivy Duguid, and Arthur Sampson; brother, George Keating, Rocky Bay; and brother-in-law, Mort Mcgrath, Louisdale, as well as many nieces and nephews. Beulah was predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Dan Sampson (2018); brothers, James (the late Peggy Bourque) Keating, Bill (the late Dee) Keating, Rudolph (the late Marjorie) Keating, and Gus (Juliette) Keating; sisters, Kay (the late Leonard) Gillis, Joan (the late Ambrose) Gerroir, and Mary (Mort) Mcgrath. Visitation will be held in Dennis Haverstock Funeral Home, St. Peter’s on Thursday May 26th, from 68 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Peter’s Catholic Church, St. Peter’s at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 27th, with Father John Yake presiding. Burial to follow in St. Peter’s Catholic Church Cemetery, St. Peter’s. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia, Strait Richmond Hospital, or Richmond Villa. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to C. H. Boudreau Funeral Home Ltd., 633 Veteran’s Memorial Dr., Arichat.
