The print-edition headline on your Jan. 15 editorial speaks of a “war” on the unvaccinated.

The unvaxxed need not worry, though. The war on alcohol in the 1930s didn’t work, the 1970s war on drugs hasn’t worked yet, and as NDP Leader Gary Burrill reminded us in a Jan. 13 opinion piece, the war on poverty and child poverty is totally failing now. Is the war on the unvaxxed any more likely to be a success?
