Delphine Leblanc dies at age 101

LEBLANC, Delphine Age 101 of La Villa Acadienne, Meteghan, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021 in the Villa. Born in Concession, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Aimee (Deveau) Theriault. She is survived by daughters, Eileen (the late Reginald) Pruneau, Anita (Tom) Power, Anne (Julien) Amirault, Rita (Philippe) Leblanc, Noella Leblanc, Gisele (Richard) Deveau; twin sister, Delina Comeau; nine grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis; daughter, Theresa; brothers, Volusien, Léo, Louis, Radolphe; half-brother, Pierre; sisters, Maria, Elizabeth, Pauline. Arrrangements have been entrusted to Meteghan Funeral Home. Visitations will be Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, December 3rd at 2 p.m., in Église Sacré-coeur, Saulnierville; Rev. Mathieu Agbaya officiating. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Church Point. In accordance with current provincial pandemic restrictions, proof of double vaccination and masks will be required to attend both the visitations and the service. Donations may be made to Christmas Daddies or to Maison Jerome.
