Sick of unvaxxed whiners

It is time to stop accommodating the unvaccinated. You can’t seem to reason with them. They will tell you they have a right to choose not to get vaccinated, but you do not have a right to deny them access to your business, social events or in-person medical treatment — without a COVID test.

Yet they are the ones putting at risk your health and your family’s, as well as our already strained health-care system, our children’s education, all movement of goods and services, travel plans, family gatherings, social events, etc. In fact, the unvaccinated could put us back into another lockdown.

Let us not forget the people who died recently, or their families, because some of these unvaccinated people decided to ignore COVID protocols at a religious gathering. Then they claim to be the victims. What about our rights?

Some will argue they are concerned about side-effects. Everyone is concerned about sideeffects. That is how ridiculous these arguments are. But if they did catch COVID, it could be many times worse. They could be hospitalized. And the only reason there’d be a hospital bed for them is because the rest of us in Nova Scotia are vaccinated. The unvaccinated are not the victims here. Time for them to stop whining and take the shot.
