WALLACE (Choisnet), Marie Arlene

We are saddened to announce the passing of Marie Arlene (Choisnet) Wallace on October 20, 2021 in Cold Lake, Alta., after a 44-year challenge with MS. Born in Springhill, April 13, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Carroll and Beverly Choisnet. She attended Aberdeen Hospital School of Nursing, graduating in 1975 and worked briefly at the Grace Maternity Hospital in Halifax. Despite ongoing health challenges, she went on to raise her two small children and had several moves across Canada, finally settling in Cold Lake and enjoyed a happy life with her second husband, Ken. Marie enjoyed cooking, baking, music, and keeping in touch with friends and family in Nova Scotia. She will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile and boisterous laugh. She is survived by husband, Ken; daughter, Melanie; and son, Tommy; brother, David (Vicki); and grandchildren, Violet and Indie. Our sincere thanks to the staff of the Long Term Care Unit of Cold Lake Hospital for their tender care of Marie.
