HOLDEN, Garth Macgowan

Age 84, of Dartmouth. The family announce his peaceful passing in Hospice Halifax on September 16, 2021. Born in Jordan Falls, October 31, 1936, he was a son of the late Harley C. and Bertha Jean (Bower) Holden. He spent his working life at Stelco in Hamilton, Ont. Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 60 years, Janet; son, Craig (Elsa); daughter, Dianne; grandchildren, Garth, Kelsey and Elizabeth; brother, Albert; sister, Vivian; brothers in-law, Bert, Tom, Don, John and Ralph. He was predeceased by his sisters, Joan, Patricia, Connie and Audrey; brothers, Murray and Harley; brother in-law, Charlie. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
