Age 75, Middle Sackville, passed away July 22, 2021, in Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Building, QEII, Halifax. Born in Halifax, he was the youngest son of Gordon and Mabel (Whitford) Dalrymple. He started his career as a Meat Cutter and Manager with Dominion Stores. Later he worked as a Sheet Metal Worker. His coworkers have always become good friends over the years. Dad had many nieces and nephews he loved so much and enjoyed teasing them as much as he could. Besides his parents and wife Sharon, he was predeceased by his brother Lloyd, a brother in infancy; mother and father-in-law, Cora and Robert Bambrick; brotherin-law, Eddy. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 27th, from 6-8 p.m. from Atlantic Funeral Home, Sackville Chapel (125 Sackville Dr.) Due to current COVID-19 restrictions, we ask that you please contact the funeral home at 902864-1434 to confirm your attendance. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 28th, at 11 a.m. from Oakridge Memorial Gardens with Rev. Sandra Cox officiating. Donations made to the Camp Hill Veterans Memorial Building, QEII or to a charity of choice would be appreciated. Remember Dad with a smile because we are sure you all have a story to tell or a memory that makes you laugh. When we think of Dad, and always with a laugh or a “remember when…”, we think of all the nicknames he gave everyone, our annual Prince Edward Island trips with the Maceachern’s and family, his days of playing ball with the Jets, and spending time with family and friends. I am sure he and mom are sitting on Penderosa Beach, P.E.I. right now. Online condolences may be expressed to the family by visiting: www.atlanticfuneralhomes.com (Sackville Chapel).
