Feathered friends rescued

At the height of the blaze which destroyed part of Port Williams Elementary School, children and teachers were concerned over the fate of a number of class pets. Port Williams fireman Bill Thorpe shows a number of newborn chicks which were rescued after the flames were brought under control. Published on 1983-03-26.
