It was the calm before the snow in parts of eastern Newfoundland on Saturday and Ron Mccarthy captured this tranquil scene in Bellevue, N.L., before it arrived. The still waters allowed for the perfect reflection of the church and school onto the water. Parts of the Avalon received more than 15 cm of snow with more unsettled weather on the way.
