UNVAXXED TAX SENSIBLE

There is a big hubbub coming out of Quebec about taxing the unvaccinated. I think it is a good idea. Let me explain. When people who are not vaccinated get sick with COVID and go to hospital, they stay longer and chew up more human and physical resources than people who are vaccinated.

Decades ago, governments applied this same principle to smokers: they increased the tax on cigarettes to offset the cost of taking care of the people who choose to smoke. I don’t see the difference. You pay for your own stupidity. Works for me. Just like deciding to vote for (insert name here.)
