OMICRON OMNIPRESENT

I was talking to my granddaughter recently. She is in her first year of her bachelor of education and she teaches one day a week at a small school.

During our conversation, she told me that eight teachers from that school were off because of COVID19. I jokingly said to her: “Don’t you catch it!” Her response was somewhat shocking to me. She said it was impossible for her not to get it — that unlike last year, there is no contact-tracing, so it is just a matter of time before she is infected. Very scary coming from someone so young.
