Four Cape Breton residents facing drug offences

SYDNEY — Three people have been assigned court dates after being charged with drug offences.

Brian Keith Pearson, 52, and Sherri Ann Drover, 48, both of Forsythe Street, New Waterford, are charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in hydromorphone and possession of money obtained by crime.

They were arrested earlier this week in New Waterford and are scheduled to appear in provincial court Dec. 1.

Wendy Elaine Hiscock, 41, of Dorchester Street, Glace Bay, is charged with trafficking in Ritalin, possession for the purpose of trafficking in Ritalin and possession of money obtained by crime.

Hiscock was arrested earlier this week during a vehicle stop in Glace Bay.

She is also scheduled to appear in court Dec. 1.

Also charged is a 45-yearold man from Coxheath who is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in cocaine and possession of money obtained by crime. His name was not released by police as the information was not yet filed with the court.

The accused was arrested this week during a vehicle stop on Spruce Haven Drive.

All of the accused have been released on an undertaking to appear in court.
