#150Women Be Epic Run goes on Sunday

The CAN Fund #150Women Be Epic Run is being run on Sunday virtually from coast to coast in support of female athletes who compete for Canada on the international stage.

The BE EPIC Run is a fundraiser for the 530 female athletes who have applied to CAN Fund #150Women for direct funding. Women across Canada will be walking or running in their neighborhoods, at a distance they choose, to help our female athletes succeed on the world stage.

CAN Fund Alumni Megan Lukan, 2016 Olympic bronze medalist in rugby 7s created the BE EPIC Run website www.beepicrun.ca where walkers and runners are registering to participate and fundraise for our female athletes.

The BE EPIC Run is the first of its kind to support Canada's top female athletes summer/ winter, able bodied and para.
