SACKVILLE, N.B. – Live Bait Theatre is organizing group online play readings and discussions during the period when schools are closed. The readings are open to anyone, no experience is necessary and people can participate by reading plays aloud with others, or just listening to them being read. There may also be workshops on drama-related themes. The online content is intended to help lighten the experience of some of those stuck inside during this difficult period. “We have readings lined up that will appeal to people of different ages, including some theatre for young audience pieces, some classic plays, and even a Shakespeare play,” said Live Bait president Cynthia Spurles. “And we're working on developing some workshops that can be done online too.” Anyone interested in taking part should contact Live Bait Theatre by e-mailing livebaittheatre@gmail.com or by calling 506-536-2248. More information can also be found at those coordinates, or by visiting Live Bait's website at www.livebaittheatre.com.
