JUST THE FACTS

Some facts about the 25th Edd McNeill Memorial hockey tournament:

• At Credit Union Place in Summerside from Dec. 1 to 4.

• Games will be played at both the Gerard (Turk) Gallant Arena and the adjacent Island Petroleum Energy Centre.

• This year’s field consists of 16 teams, including five P.E.I. teams.

• Round-robin games take place on Dec. 1 and 2.

• Skills competition is at the Island Petroleum Energy Centre on Dec. 2 at 7 p.m.

• The Round of 16 games take place on Dec. 3.

• The quarter-finals (9 and 10:30 a.m.), semifinals (1 p.m.) and final (3 p.m.) take place on Dec. 4.

• Players receive tickets to the Summerside D. Alex MacDonald Ford Western Capitals’ home games on Dec. 1 and

3.

• The all-stars from the round robin will be announced during a pre-game ceremony before the Caps’ game
