Hundreds attend Olde Fashioned Carnival

Summerside event attracts hundreds for fun and games

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. – Although Friday, July 24 had a rainy start, the weather cleared up in the afternoon just in time for Summerside’s annual Olde Fashioned Carnival. At the event, hundreds of carnival-goers lined up for activities like lawn games and a petting zoo, as well as snacks such as popcorn and cotton candy.

The carnival has taken place every summer since 2004, with the exception of 2020, when it was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic and public safety concerns.
