Police searching for suspect after recovering stolen motorcycle in Summerside

SUMMERSIDE — Summerside police are still searching for a suspect after recovering a motorcycle that was stolen overnight Sunday.

In a July 21 release, Summerside Police Services said officers received a report the morning of July 18 that a black 2008 Kawasaki Ninja EX250 motorcycle had been stolen sometime overnight.

Police said they received a report later that evening that a black motorcycle looked like it was being stripped on Convent Street.

After receiving the report, officers recovered the motorcycle, which was damaged.

Police said the matter remains under investigation and they are asking anyone with information to call them at (902) 432-1201 or P.E.I. Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
