Breaching an undertaking lands man in jail
SUMMERSIDE — A 43-yearold Summerside man will spend more than a month in jail for breaching two undertakings. Adam Joseph Pitre pleaded guilty in Summerside provincial court recently to breaching an undertaking by being in contact with someone he should not have and to failing to appear in court. Judge Krista MacKay sentenced Pitre to a total of 55 days in custody and he must pay $200 in victim fine surcharges. Pitre was given nine days’ credit for time served.
