ber 30, 2022 in the Northside Community Guest Home, surrounded by family and love. Born in Sydney Mines

on March 19, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Maria ( MacKinnon) Dalton. In 1957 she married the love of her life, George, and enjoyed 62 years together raising their six children. Aquiet and softspoken woman, she took pride in looking after her family. She was a beautiful baker and loved to cook. She enjoyed her club nights with the ladies, playing cards, laughing and having a “nice” lunch. She was always happy getting her address list ready for Dad for their weekend yard sales and flea market outings. She spent her summers in Black Rock, where she was happiest, surrounded by her family and the many children who came to visit her daily for a little treat. Left to mourn are her children, Harvey (Joanne), Rhonda (Earl), Sandy (Lynn), Sheila (Donnie), Georgie (Lindsey) and Shannon; her grandchildren, Adam, Courtney, Jean Marc (Shaylyn), Catherine (Wesley), Joey (Taylor), Mark (Rebecca), Stephen (Jillian), Brittany (Steven), Marshall (Heatherlee), Justin and Ryen. Also, her precious great-grandchildren, Everett, Levi, Gray, Grayson, Lochlan, Nolan, Everly, Benson, Cailyn, and Nevaeh. Also, left to mourn are her sisters, Mae (Emmett), Doris, Linda (Pat) and Mary Eileen; her brother, Jack, along with her many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind a special brother- in-law, Louie and

the girls on MacEachern Place who were her special family for the past nine years. Besides her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her husband, George,; brother, Edward and sisters,

Rose Marie, Maureen and Kathleen. There will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass to celebrate her life will be held Thursday, October 6, 2022, at 11a.m. at Holy Family Church, Sydney Mines. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Sydney Mines, with a reception to follow at Holy Family Parish Hall. In lieu of flowers donations may be

made to the Northside Community Guest Home.
