Cape Breton Capers receive commitment from two players

SYDNEY — The Cape Breton Capers men’s soccer team continued to add to its roster for the upcoming Atlantic University Sport season.

The club received a commitment from Andre Beecher for the 2022 season. The centreback has spent most of this season with Athlete Institute Football Club in League1 in Ontario.

The Brampton, Ont., product will be enrolled in the bachelor of science program at Cape Breton University in the fall.

The Capers also received a commitment from Jakub Pařízek, a central midfielder from the Czech Republic.

The 22-year-old is currently playing professionally in his home country and is the captain of his ‘B’ level team. He’s expected to make an immediate impact on the Capers roster this season.

His statistics were not provided.

The České Budějovice product will be enrolled in the post-baccalaureate diploma in business management program at CBU.
