Plea set on drug charges

SYDNEY — A Glace Bay man has been released on conditions in connection with drug offences.

Jodi Bernard Steele, 43, is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking relating to hydromorphone, Ritalin and cocaine.

The offences are alleged to have occurred May 25 in Glace Bay.

Among the conditions of his release, Steele is to live at a Second Street address in Glace Bay and have no contact with three people.

He is not to be intoxicated in public and report by phone once a week to police.

He is now expected to enter pleas July 25.
