Plea set on host of offences

SYDNEY — A provincial court trial has been set for a North Sydney man whose charges include a weapon offence.

Robert Leslie Matthews, 49, is charged with four counts of breaching court orders, three counts of uttering threats, two counts of mischief and single counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and assault with a weapon.

Matthews is now scheduled to stand trial Feb. 8, 2023. He continues his release on conditions.
