Trial date assigned

SYDNEY — A Glace Bay couple is to return to provincial court in February for a trial on drug trafficking charges.

Elliot Gouthro, 47, and Candice Macintyre, 37, both of Cadegan Drive, are jointly charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in Ritalin and trafficking in Ritalin.

Gouthro also faces charges of resisting arrest, possession of Percocet and possession of money knowing it was obtained by crime.
