No-WAY-Sis.

Actually, it's true that about 61 people were stranded at a Yorkshire pub for four days with Oasis tribute band Noasis after a snowstorm trapped them.

The Tan Hill Inn — marketed as Britain's highest inn at about 530 metres above sea level — became their unexpected home away from home when 1.5 metres of snow fell suddenly on Friday in what was called Storm Arwen.

The band played Friday night but were stranded until Monday night along with their fans.

On Sunday, the pub had a karaoke evening, organized a quiz, showed films on a projector and made a lunch for everyone who'd been sleeping on makeshift beds next to the bar.

“Last night they had a singsong karaoke,” Tan Hill Inn co-owner Mike Kenny told The Yorkshire Post.

“Even Noasis did a few acoustic numbers. They are tremendous people and are mucking in like everyone else.”

When finally allowed to depart, the band posted had fun with it on social media.

“Noasis have left the building!” they posted to Twitter.

“Thanks to everyone for your messages of support, thanks to Mike, Nicola and all of the staff, Kendal Mountain Rescue and thanks to everyone for the camaraderie within the venue — it's been emotional! #Snowasis.”
