Bail hearing scheduled

SYDNEY — A bail hearing is set for Friday for a Sydney man facing multiple sex offences.

Andrew Alfred Giasson, 32, of Howie Centre is charged with three counts of making explicit sexual material available to a person under 16, three counts of child luring, three counts of making child pornography available, two counts of accessing child pornography and two counts of breaching court orders.

The offences are alleged to have occurred between February and June 2020 in Howie Centre.

He is also facing four counts of breaching court orders and single counts of assault and obstruction of justice. Those offences are alleged to have occurred in November.

Giasson continues to be on remand pending the outcome of his bail hearing.
