Guilty plea entered

SYDNEY — A Sydney man is to be sentenced in February

after pleading guilty to a reduced drug offence.

Gordon Robert MacGillivary, 46, of McConnell Drive was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in oxycodone. The offence occurred in April 2018 in Sydney.

MacGillivary was scheduled to stand trial on the charge but pleaded guilty to the reduced offence of possession.

Sentencing is now scheduled for Feb. 8.
