Bail hearing scheduled

SYDNEY — A bail hearing is scheduled for today for a Sydney man facing five assault-related offences.

Hassan Yousef Almusjan, 35, is charged with three counts of assault causing bodily harm and single counts of assault with a weapon (a glass candle holder), assault, uttering a threat and criminal harassment.

The offences are alleged to have occurred between January 2010 and December 2017 in Sydney.

The accused is on remand pending the outcome of his bail hearing. While in custody, he has been ordered to have no contact with five individuals.
