MCKENZIE, Wilena

We are sad to announce the passing of our sister, Wilena McKenzie, on May 24, 2021 in Toronto, ON. Wilena was a kind and loving person who loved everyone unconditionally. A woman of strong faith and a deep commitment to her church and Catholic faith. She was predeceased by her husband, Alexander (Bud) McKenzie; parents, George and Agnes Donovan; brother, Richard Donovan. She is survived by sisters, Jean Gallant, Anne (Jody) Darline, Catherine (Kay) MacNeil and brother, Eddie Donovan. She was a wonderful aunt to her many nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed. Cremation has taken place and a funeral mass was held in St. Bridget's Church, Toronto. Her graveside service will be held Saturday, Sept. 25, 11 a.m. in St. Anne's Cemetery, Glace Bay with Fr. Devereaux officiating. All are welcome.
