COVID precaution notices issued for restaurant, flight

Nova Scotia Health Public Health has issued a COVID precaution notification for the Thai Express restaurant on Prince Street in Sydney.

Precaution notifications are issued when there has been a potential exposure of minimal risk to the public.

At Thai Express this potential exposure occurred on Friday between 7-9 p.m. and anyone exposed to the virus may develop symptoms up to, and including, Oct. 1.

An exposure notification was also issued for Air Canada 8810 travelling on Sept 17 from Halifax (11:45 a.m.) to Sydney (12:54 p.m.)

Exposure notifications are issued when the public has had close contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

It is anticipated that anyone exposed to the virus on this flight may develop symptoms up to, and including, Oct. 1.

Passengers in rows 8-14, seats C, D and F were specifically noted.

Tuesday's exposure update from Nova Scotia Health identified six other precaution sites – all in the central zone.

A precaution notice was also issued for Flair Airlines 8307 travelling on Sept. 11 from Ottawa to Halifax.

An exposure notification was issued for The Den Nightclub in Halifax and Air Canada Flight 604, travelling on Sept. 17 from Toronto (7:55 a.m.) to Halifax (10:55 a.m.).
