7 DAY FORECAST, CAPE BRETON

CINDY SAYS: The last in a series of narrow troughs is crossing the region now. Lift ahead of the line of instability, has triggered a few morning showers. A wind shift to the north behind the showers will usher in a lovely dry air mass – at least for a day or so. Plan on being outside on Sunday; we’re in for sunshine with highs in the mid-twenties. Showers return to start the last week of the month; so too does the humidity; humidex values will climb to the low thirties by Tuesday. The next significant system will reach the island late Thursday night; Friday will be wet and windy.
