Bail hearing scheduled

SYDNEY — A Reserve Mines man is now scheduled to return to provincial court in June for a bail hearing on a host of offences.

Matthew Isaiah Degaust, 23, is charged with 12 counts of breaching court orders, two counts of driving while prohibited, and single counts of dangerous driving, possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine), and possession of money knowing it was obtained by crime.

The offences are alleged to have occurred between March and April in Glace Bay and Sand Lake.

A bail hearing is now set for June 24.
