Trial date to be assigned
SYDNEY — A provincial court trial date will be set later this month for a Glace Bay man charged with threatening a provincial prosecutor.
Daniel Thomas Saccary, 63, of Mcdonalds Lane has pleaded not guilty to two counts of uttering threats. A third charge of intimidation of a justice system participant has been withdrawn.
The offences are alleged to have occurred March 25 in Sydney.
Saccary, who continues his release on conditions, is now scheduled to be assigned a trial date May 12.
