Lockview rallies to win Div. 2 football title

The Lockview Dragons rallied to defeat the Sydney Academy Wildcats 35-31 to capture the Nova Scotia High School Football League Division 2 championship on Sunday night at Huskies Stadium.

The Dragons faced a 31-14 deficit in the fourth quarter but clawed back on touchdowns by Caleb Pickett, Oliver Tillman and Jack Henderson. Charlie Sherwood and Sam Lovett hauled TD passes from QB Prosser Macdonald for the other Dragons' scores.

Peyton Barter had a pair of touchdowns for the Wildcats, while Connor Macdonald and Ben Appelin added majors.
