WINSOR, E. Irene

Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home on November 17, 2023. E. Irene Winsor in her 98th year. Predeceased by her husband of 61 years J. Gerald Winsor in 2009. Leaving to mourn her two sons: Craig (Suzanne) of Sydney and Paul (Eileen) of St. John’s; two grandchildren: Jade (Dan Calderon) of Montreal and Robyn of St. John’s; one great grandchild Samuel Calderon; sister Beryl Grace of Paradise; special cousin Norma Adams of St. John’s; large circle of nieces and nephews with special thanks to Tony Richards, Corinne Burgess and Pierette Bugden for their many visits at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home. At Irene’s request cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue on Tuesday, November 21st from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A service of thanksgiving to be held on Wednesday, November 22nd at 1 p.m. A family interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
