ROBICHAUD, Peter Frederick

Age 85 of Lower Sackville. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Peter on November 17, 2023 in Arborstone Enhanced Care, Halifax. He was a son of the late William and Charlotte Robichaud. Peter is survived by his son, Kevin and granddaughters, Kaylie and Sarah Robichaud; and many extended family members. Besides his parents, Peter was predeceased by his wife, Gloria; son, Mark; brother, Billy; and daughter-in-law, Terry. Peter was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of the Sackville Legion Dart League for many years. He was an avid card player and long-time camper who enjoyed playing horseshoes and ring toss. He was always up for a good party with family and friends. He was employed with Halifax City Workers for 35 years. In retirement he worked as a crosswalk guard for many years. Visitation will be held on Thursday November 23rd at 10 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11 a.m., all from Atlantic Funeral Home, 125 Sackville Drive, Lower Sackville. A Celebration of Life will follow from 1-3 p.m. at the Sackville Legion, 45 Sackville Cross Road, Lower Sackville. Family burial will take place at a later date.
