‘Tis the Season 15 part of deCoste On the Road Tour

Tis The Season 15 is the gift that keeps on giving. For many, this hit show has become a yearly tradition, the official start of the holiday season, not only for the patrons of the deCoste, but also for the talented actors/musicians who perform in the show including headliners Bette MacDonald and Maynard Morrison.

This show has become a way for the performers to celebrate the holidays by visiting their favourite venues and meeting old friends and new. This hilarious show has become the jumping off point to the yuletide season featuring show favourites Beulah Claxton, Martin MacKinnon, Wayne Tomko among others.

In addition to the assorted Cape Breton characters including the likes of Mary Morrison (who loves to tell you all kinds of stories about her husband Gordie), the show includes popular skits and festive songs performed by the cast.

Bette, Maynard and crew will perform on Wednesday, Dec. 7 and Thursday, Dec. 8 at the Pictou County Wellness Centre as part of the deCoste On the Road Tour. Both shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and are near or over the 65 per cent sold mark.

“It’s a show that regularly sells out early,” said Marketing Manager Jennifer MacLennan.
