Jennie Bovard ~ Goalball

Senior Female Individual Athlete Jennie, 37, was a key defensive player for Team Nova Scotia at the women’s senior goalball championships in Ottawa. The Halifax athlete made crucial blocks and scored four goals in the tournament to help Nova Scotia to silver, the best-ever result for a Nova Scotia women’s team at goalball nationals.
