Brief Conservative leadership candidate visiting region

A meet and greet will be held in southwestern Nova

Scotia on the weekend, with a candidate who is running for the leadership of the federal Conservative party.

Pierre Poilievre will be in the region on Saturday, May 14. He will be present for a 6:30 p.m. campaign event happening at the Island and Barrington Passage Fire Department, located at 1081 Highway 330 in Centerville on Cape Sable Island.

People are asked to RSVP for the event at the website

www.pierre4PM.ca/barrington to assist organizers in knowing what to expect in terms of numbers. If the gathering becomes too large for the space initially chosen, a new location will be selected and will be advertised on that website.
