Long-known Prince Street antiques place closes doors

CHELSEY GOULD TRURO NEWS chelsey.gould @saltwire.com

TRURO - For as long as most people can remember, the antiques place without a storefront banner and occasional hours at 887 Prince St. advertised a closing out sale, but it was not until over the recent holidays that paper went up over the windows.

Local entrepreneur Justin Gloade bought the property. He did not respond to an interview request but wrote that he did not have committed plans at the time.

Attempts to contact the antique dealer, Keith Barry, were unsuccessful.

Neighbouring businessowners commented on their excitement seeing the section of downtown being developed, with the former Nova Scotian Emporium across the street being renovated into a mixed-use building.
