TIME TO ROLL

When the temperature on Saturday, Nov. 18, 2023 moved past 10 C under sunny skies, Lester Power jumped at the opportunity to get a head start on his boat maintenance on the dock at Jerseyside, Placentia in preparation for next boating season. His wife Valerie’s family resettled from Merasheen Island in Placentia Bay and the couple spends much time in the summers at their cabin at Merasheen, about a two-and-half hour steam from Jerseyside.
