PERCEPTIONS OF TIPPING

An Angus Reid poll conducted in February 2023 found:

• 64 per cent of Canadians (59 per cent in Atlantic Canada) say the number of times they are prompted to tip has increased.

• 62 per cent of Canadians (42 per cent in Atlantic Canada) say the amount of the tip they’re prompted to leave has increased.
