Cougars sweep under-15 Wildcats

Charlie MacLeod scored twice to pace the Joneljim Cougars past the Kings Mutual Valley Wildcats

4-3 to win their Nova Scotia Under-15 Major Hockey League playoff series.

Brody Dawson also scored in the March 11 win in North Sydney as the Cougars swept the bestof-three series 2-0. The Cougars won the opener 7-6 March 4 in Berwick.

Jax Chappel, Sam Stoddart and Nate Betts scored for the Wildcats in Game 2 with Carsen Pearl, Kellan Miller, Drake Ledson and Jesse Sinclair each recording an assist.

Daniel LeVatte made 28 saves for the win while Maddox Neumann stopped 29 shots in the loss.
